Horoscopes           October 2018

Capricorn:   Lots to reflect on.

    Lucky You! (NOT).  Mars has been storming through your 2^nd house of personal possessions. Mars is usually in a sign for no more than 2 months so his 5 month stay in Aquarius this year has been a pretty big deal.  He finishes up his assertive aggressive passage in November. This Mars visit has had you taking stock.  What goes…what stays.  Champion what you hold dear, toss out what has gotta go.  This month take a break around the 24^th or 27^th.  Kick back and feel good about what you’ve accomplished.  This year Saturn supports you and as your ruling Planet this means he also is giving you a pat on the back.  4 Planets is in Scorpio and your 11^th house of groups and friendships so that Social life is lively and busy.  With a lot of Charisma appeal!  You may be getting propositions, enjoy it! Have fun!  The 2^nd and 11^th are prime for squabbles with higher ups.  Stalls, delays and rescheduling.  (and do that on the 6^th or 12^th).  No need pushing those transits.  Venus (love and money) turns retrograde in Scorpio on the 5^th.  This brings up intense memories.  Is there someone from the past?  Maybe time to reach out?  If you do it could be intense so keep that in mind.  Enjoy the month, keep focused!

Aquarius:   Keep searching for answers

     Mars has been the dominant Planet this year!  He’s been showing off in your very own sign, Aquarius and feeding off that rebellious energy you are known for.  This has made for a lively year!  Now things mellow out. Stay sharp though, watch your words.  Mars will crank you up this months so watch your natural nature to argue.  You have no problem being just who you are, but keep that anger down and remember Mars is making us all do this.  Venus stops in her tracks on the 5^th to turn retrograde.  She’s in Scorpio and is in your 10^th house of higher ups and Authority figures.  You are going to feel the need to retrace your steps with regard to a recent career decision.  Change your mind if it seems warranted. You are entitled.  Mercury in Scorpio (both good detectives) will steer you to some answers or just when to poke around.  If this is a lone search take it a bit at a time, you’ll find those answers you are after.  Be aware, some friends may not like it.  The 24^th Full Moon in Taurus will set up shop in your Solar 4th house of home and family and domestic matters. You’ll be settling in and with open arms to dear ones.  Maybe a get together…plan it!

Pisces:   Watch for someone from the Past

  Put a gold star on your calendar for the 8^th. The New Moon is in Libra (a sign that loves to socialize).  Get out there and have some fun.  Grab those friends!  Four Planets in your 9^th house of long distance travel and far away friends will possibly have you plotting out a trip or better yet, setting out on one.  Can Biz and pleasure mix so you can combine both? This could be a momentous journey, maybe life changing. Venus turns retrograde on the 5^th and this too may help to reunite you with someone from the past. Could it be another chance for you to make something of a relationship or further one that had gone by the wayside. Possibly a coincidental crossing of paths, too. The 20^th will be a meeting up of the emotional Moon in your sign and a number of Planets contacting each other.. Feelings could be on overload…go ahead and express them.  Hang on to those secrets, though.  The 24^th Full Moon in Taurus (which is a money magnet) will help any Business endeavor you have been doing your homework on (hopefully).  Good energy for promoting yourself, too.  This is just an all-around great month for you!

Aires:    Time for a hand shake

     The New Moon on October 8^th will help you fend off Mar’s War like energy that has had everyone heated up since May.  A bit of rebellion and fiery verbal interaction has been going on.  The Moon will be in your 7^th house of relationships and it will urge you to contact or make good with anyone you’ve been at odds with.  Even if it has been for a long time.  Now it’s time for closure and a hand shake.  You are not the sign to back down but you’ll be feeling motivated to.  The full Moon on the 24^th in down to earth Taurus will also see you sitting down at the Peace table.  Venus and Saturn will join in and these calm, rational Planets will be right there with you.  Time to put down the swords, time for Peace.  Then kick back and enjoy the calmness.  Venus and Saturn will also help if a financial deal needs negotiating.  If you’ve been up against the Wall, try to negotiate again…stop fighting.  Halloween could surprise you with an opposition between Venus and Uranus.  Someone from the past might pop up.  Maybe it is not someone you have planned on seeing again.  Just be nice, stay calm, find and exit and move one!  Let someone else scare you this Halloween

 

Taurus:  Lots of looking back

    Venus is your ruling Planet.  On the 5^th she turns retrograde.  This is a time of reflection and since she’ll be in your 7^th house you can expect past relationships to Pop up.  These can be for the good or bad.  Reflect over old Problems if you decide to start up again with them.  Take it slow.  Mars still has things a bit volatile and war like.  If the 11^th is ripe with Power struggles around relationships and if there is a standoff…be patient.  Cool off before unloading.  Key here is to let the other person speak first.  The 24^th Full Moon along with Venus and Saturn will help to make this just an awesome day.  You’ll feel a bit like being wild and groovy.  Show a bit of moderation, though.  But you can plan on being the life of the party.  On the 27^th the Sun and Saturn are in a sextile and this is a great time for agreements, deals and handshakes.  If a deal appears to have gone South, just use this energy to resolve what has come before this knowing it can be worked out, calmly over lunch…this is a good month to get some stuff resolved…Just like you like it!

Gemini:   The art of Communication

      Mars still is fanning the flames of rebellion (or anything heating up).  Stay calm because everyone is feeling this energy and you can be the one to keep the Peace.  At least there are those heavenly bodies you can blame rather than yourself.  After the 5^th Venus turns retrograde.  This could usher in feelings of being stalled or delayed in regards to a relationship situation.  If there is a disturbance in the force, patience is the best move or maybe just some space for now.  There could be roadblocks as well on the 10^th and 11^th.  Frustration could rear its head.  Once again communication is the best and probably only solution.  Are they holding back?  Are you?  It might be about things that have just been unearthed.  Remember to listen.  A Sun-Uranus opposition has an erratic feeling amongst others at work.  Make sure all details are well shared in case someone goes off the reservation or jumps ship.  Be prepared.  The 24^th Full Moon is in Taurus, the sign that is a money magnet.  If there is a deal, contract, or selling your Soul to the Devil transaction happening the key here is check out the details.  Get those ducks or Pelicans in a row.  Be prepared for anything but movement is good.  Things are looking up.  Kind of an intense month but a lovely one, too

Cancer:  All about love and money

    Mercury has some fun and games for you this month especially on the 9^th. He makes his way into your 5^th house of recreation and playmates.  This Planet is the Joker and will be up for all games.  Don’t allow those games to hurt others feelings, though.  Especially if they are your good Bud. And on the 5^th Venus turns retrograde in your Solar 5^th house of Lovers (and in Sexy Scorpio all month).  Keep an eye out for that special attractive, magnetic person from your recent past. (hopefully you are single if this applies).  Go make contact, take the 1^st move.  At least a chat?  Right?  ON the 15^th Mercury collides with relationship loving Venus, and in Scorpio as well.  If discussing a relationship with Someone and if it gets personal, don’t reveal too much if you can’t trust them.  Maybe secrets are good sometimes.  On the 24^th dig into your finances, especially if shared.  Come up with that debt minimizing plan and put it to work…if you have not already.  A Venus-Saturn sextile aspect will join forces with the Full Moon in Taurus (success magnet).  So this is good energy to throw at those dineros.  Think abundance and draw it to you/!!   

Leo:  Someone from the Past popping up?

     Lots of looking back going on.  Mars has had you reflecting on where you want to go for the next few years.  What has not worked for you in the past that you can change?  Now on the 5^th loving Venus prepares to turn retrograde for a long 6 weeks.  Long lost loved ones can turn up now or a nagging feeling to go search Someone out.  Someone from the Past.  If something wants to rekindle (a flame? A Relative?) just don’t relive the unpleasant parts.  Be realistic.  As well as Love, Venus oversees money, too. Possibly you’ll be looking through old records.  Maybe to cinch a good deal.  The 24^th Full Moon is a good time to get that Professional person involved that can help.  Beware of your words on the 2^nd.  Mercury forms a contentious square aspect with Pluto.  If someone is nudging you and getting under your skin, beware to just move away.  You may regret what you say.  Think first.  7 of 10 Planets are in Earth and water signs this month.  This does make for a friendly Co-operative atmosphere) put out your hand for a shake if there is one of those misunderstandings.  Life is too awesome.  Move on!

Virgo: Rein in the temper this month…

    Well on top of fiery Mars keeping everyone on edge, Venus stops and is turning around to go retrograde on the 5^th. A whole month!  You get to look back at past relationships you ended but were never sure you reached closure.  Oh boy!  That Person or persons may just emerge this month or you may be seeking them out. Not a bad idea this month to put some issues to rest.  On the 10^th (just like Sept 8^th) Venus and Mars get into a square.  So once again you’ll have this overwhelming urge to take someone down….maybe hand them a guilt card?  It could be a loved one you feel owes you an apology or a favor.  Better a sit down chat, get it settled. Maybe it would be a good idea to throw some humor in there, though.  The end results will be much better.  The 24^th Full Moon is in your 9^th house of long distance friends, Lovers or far off places.  You may see yourself jumping on a plane or diving into internet research.  Go hook up with that Buddy or binge on a fascinating new subject.  Forgive and forget if need be.  Venus is in opposition to Uranus on Halloween…yippee.  Time to be that crazy Someone else.  Who will it be?  Says a lot about you…beware!  How about a walk down the beach and enjoy the nice cool air?  Smile, too.

Libra:   Time to Pay attention

     Have you had an urge to be adventurous?  Has climbing an active Volcano or Sailing into a storm been on your mind? Mars has been in Aquarius, the daring sign and also in your 5^th house of Playmates and fun times.  However, you might have opted for challenging your brain.  Taking on that new quest in Business or for pleasure.  Maybe diving into an arena that is all new intellectually…Awesome!  Safer than Volcanos, too.  On the 5^th you may need to rethink a financial commitment. Venus turns retrograde in your 2^nd house of money matters.  If a purchase is absolutely necessary, keep receipts and paperwork.  AND read the FINE PRINT!  On the 10^th a Venus-Mars square adds a bit more drama.  If you are in a relationship, be sure to talk out issues and clear the air.  Be honest!  The Sun and Pluto (the restless Planet) square off and serious, long lasting disagreements can surface.  You are not fond of confrontation but if someone close to you is holding out on you or hiding something, make sure you ask questions.  Be confrontational. Get the Truth and if need be, cut your losses.  This is a down to business month!  But go enjoy the Fall Breezes and Go all out at Halloween.  There is fun in the air, too.

    

Scorpio:   Lots of going back over things 

     On the 5^th or 6^th of October, don´t be surprised if you hear from someone from the past (if you are single it could be an old flame.) This could signal a reunion, but just have your red flags up, be sure to revisit Pain if there was some, but maybe things have changed.  Venus spends most of the month retrograde and decisions about money will rear their heads.  Have you been ignoring some or unwilling to deal with them?  Okay, time to pull your head out!  Get those facts and figures.  How about an accountant? Or at least a good honest friend with a calculator.  The Sun will oppose startling Uranus on the 23^rd.  So don’t be surprised if there is an atmosphere with sudden emotional shifts to any relationships…even those solid ones. Pay attention if there is news that is unsettling about a loved one.  ON the 24^th gather up the whole Gang and take a breather!  The Full Moon in comforting Taurus is on hand so go and do a group hug, enjoy some finer things.  Remember Gratitude and how great life is! 

Sagittarius:   Something pulling you from the past

     Time to kick back this month and think about yourself.  The Sun, Venus and Saturn will allow you to enjoy yourself now. What do you want to do, where do you want to go?  With whom?  Start saving up at least if you can’t buy that ticket this month.  Adventure!  Or how about a weekend at a new beach?  Venus is in charge of money and love and is moving retrograde on the 5^th.  A relationship from the past might need revisiting.  Something dealt with again.  Tie up loose ends.  Make sure everyone knows where they fit in your life.  At the same time joint finances and shared resources are a bit tricky when Venus moves backwards.  Some financial issues you’ve done your best to avoid now is jumping up and down. Possibly a Professional is needed once you’ve faced facts.  The 12^th would be a great time for that appointment.  Halloween could keep you hoping and a certain someone could be acting spooky…yikes.  Be prepared. Maybe communication is all that is needed. Then put the mask back on and fangs in and Go spook someone else for Halloween.
